Can anyone use the sauna and ice-cold plunge barrels?
All individuals can use the sauna and ice-cold plunge barrels; however, it is essential to consult your GP before booking or using them if you have any reservations or medical conditions, underlying health problems, are taking prescription drugs, or are pregnant.
Are there any age restrictions for sauna use?
For safety reasons, individuals under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the sauna.
What are the benefits of hot and cold therapy?
The hot and cold therapy provided by our sauna and ice-cold plunge barrels offers various benefits, including relaxation, improved blood circulation, pain relief, reduced inflammation, and accelerated healing.
Can I wear jewelry in the sauna?
To prevent burning, it is recommended to remove all jewelry before entering the sauna. Additionally, ensure that your swimwear does not contain any metal parts that may heat up and potentially burn the skin.
Is nudity allowed in the sauna?
No, nudity is not permitted in the sauna. Swimwear must be worn at all times.
What should I do with my personal belongings during the sauna session?
We provide large buckets for you to store your personal belongings during your sauna session. However, please note that all persons store their belongings at their own risk, and Endorfin operators do not accept responsibility or liability for any missing, lost, or stolen possessions.
How long should I spend in the sauna at a time?
It is recommended to spend no more than 15 minutes in the sauna at any one time. If you begin to feel dizzy, nauseous, or lightheaded, it is advised to leave the sauna immediately.
Can I pour water on the hot rocks in the sauna?
Yes, you can pour water on the hot rocks to produce steam and increase the heat in the sauna. However, it is important to follow the operators’ instructions and use the ladle provided to ensure a safe distance from the stove. Only pour the provided sauna water on the hot rocks intermittently and when all sauna users are seated.
Are there any specific safety precautions to follow in the sauna?
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes moving slowly, respecting other sauna users, avoiding touching the stove or opening the stove door, and not hanging towels or clothes to dry in the sauna to prevent the risk of fire. Hydration and taking time to cool down after the sauna session are also important.
What is the rescheduling and cancellation policy?
To cancel or reschedule your booking, please email us with your booking details. Refunds are available with a minimum of 4 days’ notice for cancellations. Rescheduling requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Refunds are not provided for cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or for “no-shows.”
